Usage
- Download the Modular Image Reveal template
- Unzip the downloaded zip file
- Navigate to the Scenes folder
- Open the Scene file in Cavalry
- In Cavalry open the Control Centre via
Window > Control Centre - Change the Control Centre attributes to your liking
Adding Images
Add your images to the Images Smart Folder in the Assets panel. The template automatically uses all images inside the Smart Folder. When images are added or removed, the composition duration automatically adjusts to match the number of images. This makes it easy to create longer or shorter sequences without manually adjusting the timeline.
Automatic Composition Duration
The duration of the composition is automatically calculated based on the number of images inside the Images Smart Folder. Add more images to create a longer sequence or remove images to create a shorter sequence. No manual timeline adjustment is required.
Controls
Global Scale
Controls the overall scale of the complete animation within the composition. Adjust the X and Y values to make the animation larger or smaller while keeping the composition resolution unchanged.
Image Size
Controls the size of the individual images within the reveal. Adjust the X and Y values to create different image proportions and layouts.
Image Layout Seed
Generates a different randomized layout for the images. Change the Seed to quickly explore alternative compositions.
Image Blocks Variation
Generates a different randomized variation of the animated blocks. Change the Seed to explore different block patterns while keeping the image layout intact.
Image Reveal Stagger
Controls the timing offset between the individual elements of the image reveal. Lower values create a tighter and faster sequence, while higher values spread the reveal further apart in time.
Image Pixelate
Controls the pixelation effect applied to the images. Adjust the Pixel Size to change the size of the pixels. Set Opacity to 0% to disable the effect completely.
Image Tracking
Controls the animated tracking lines on the image. Adjust the Width and Color to customize their appearance.
Background Shapes
Generates a randomized variation of the image shapes. Change the Colors and Random Seed to quickly explore different background variations. Set the opacity to 0% to hide the background shapes completely.
Composition Background
Sets the Background Color of the composition.
