Usage
- Download the Circular Image Cloud template
- Unzip the downloaded zip file
- Navigate to the Scenes folder
- Open the Scene file in Cavalry
- In Cavalry open the Control Centre via
Window > Control Centre - Change the Control Centre attributes to your liking
Controls
Composition
Animation Start & End
Sets the animation range and controls the overall duration and speed of the animation. The duration cannot be shorter than 200 frames.
Scene Frame Rate
Sets the frame rate of the scene.
Background
Adjusts the background color and transparency of the composition.
Resolution
Sets the resolution of the composition. The image cloud updates automatically to match.
A - Animation Offset
Start/End Keyframe Offset
Offsets the animation independently from the playback range, letting you fine-tune which part of the animation is rendered.
B - Image & Video Shader
Scale Mode
Controls how images or videos are fitted inside their containers.
Video Frame Rate
Sets the playback frame rate for videos used in the template.
C - Image Duplicator
Flip Order
Reverses the image order
Number of Cards
Sets how many cards are used to create the image cloud.
Duplicator Scale
Adjusts the X and Y scale of the image cloud independently from each other and from the composition size.
D - Circle Rotation
Rotation Offset
Offsets the rotation of the image cloud, letting you adjust where the circular motion starts and ends.
Rotation Curve
Adjusts the easing of the circular motion, giving you control over the speed and character of the animation.
E - Image Shape
Image Size
Sets the width and height of the individual image cards.
Corner Radius
Adjusts the roundness of the image corners.
F - Random Image Scale
Minimum Scale
Sets the smallest possible scale for the randomly sized images.
Maximum Scale
Sets the largest possible scale for the randomly sized images.
Random Seed
Creates a new random size variation while keeping the same minimum and maximum scale settings.
G - Random 3D X/Y Rotation
X/Y Rotation Amount
Controls how much the cards rotate in 3D space on the X and Y axes at the start and end of the animation.
Random Seed
Creates a new random X/Y rotation variation.
H - Random 3D Z Rotation
Z Rotation Amount
Controls how much the cards randomly rotate around the Z axis at the start and end of the animation.
Random Seed
Creates a new random Z rotation variation.
